Am I nuts? Or does a cop smoking a cigar at a gas station seem like a poster for unsafe behavior?

What do you think? Maybe I'm too hard on law enforcement, but everytime I see a cop car, it's speeding, changing lanes with out signaling, talking on a cell phone (yup, they are exempt from that new law) parking in a way that would be a ticket for anyone else... etc etc.

Maybe I'm too critical of them, but I doubt it. . . they aren't allowed to smoke in the cruisers to top it off.

North Park annual Cops and Rodders car show

I've never seen this on the trailer, it sure makes it look small

The whole side of the park had restored Police cars... great display, and I once got to take photos of the place they restore them http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/07/stumbled-across-restoration-and-repair.html

I don't recall seeing the center head light before, it's oval shape... unusual
San Diego SWAT vehicle... made me realize San Diego has a swat team, I didn't know we did
1969 bus

Twisted Minds bike club, that's Mike in the black jacket
why do this to a vette? yes, it's an ugly 70's vette, but looks even worse as a 4x4

Both the black cars are Dodges

this is the first time I've seen this Shriners truck

It's a 4 dr... and I didn't realize that til I walked around it

these guys are good!

NYPD detectives parking illegally, and getting towed!

Dozens of detectives say they have had their department cars towed — by their own department.

On at least 35 occasions, have walked outside to find their cars hooked by a special detail of the Internal Affairs Bureau that hunts for illegally parked cop cars.

Comments in this news article point out that the cops took overtime pay to get the cars out of the tow yard. Further endearing is that the city cars, were being locked up... by... the city. So, stupidity abounds, NYPD cops are hypocrites and not aware of the oath of office they swore (and that pisses me off) and then complained about Internal Affairs busting them for being parking a-holes. Int he word of the great Walter Matthau "Putz!"

But when their former leader New York City police commissioner Kerik just plead guilty to no less that 8 Ferderal Felony Charges, what can you expect of leaderless NYPD? That their integrity would be scupulous? http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/k/bernard_b_kerik/index.html?inline=nyt-per

not that I'm on a roll, but everywhere you look at New York news the cops are hypocrits and worse http://queenscrap.blogspot.com/2010/03/another-cop-claims-he-was-pressured-to.html

It's all in a different language, but a lesson can learned, if pulled over, put your cell phone camera to work video taping the encounter,

Nothing interesting happens in the video after the first 15 seconds or so, I just find it a remarkably good idea to put into practice to get your camera filming the cop in case he screws up and you can use the video to toss out any tickets he gives you, or against him if the cop is unprofessional.. .. your word against the cops word never will win for you.

Alex comments that corrupt Russian police are often trying to decieve and take advantage of people and for a driver to record every thing the cops do is self protection. I agree

Minding your own business, driving through Sweden, when all the sudden the cops try to kill someone! Public display of WTF!?!?

Am I wrong? What would you call this malicious attack from the police? Looks to me like they were out for blood on this one, at least CHP only throws a spike strip or goes for the J hook to spin out a perp...
To hell with their health care plan, I'm not living where the cops can freely flip your ride, destroying it and possibly crippling or killing you!

Beware of cops hiding around corners... don't roll through this stop sign at the Southbound 805 exit at Adams Ave

Hard to see the cop car in front of the Ford truck, isn't it... but he is nice enough to walk out and wave over people who roll through thte stop sign, and give them a 300 dollar ticket for not coming to a full stop

Not easy to see him, and he parked liked that very deliberately. Well done officer

Here he is writing a ticket for the silver SUV in front

Here comes back up just rolling past on the way to 7-11 for coffee..., it's 100 feet up the road from the ticket writer, see the second photo
